This Chianti Classico DOCG stands as a benchmark for Tuscany's highest quality classification. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 430 metres above sea level, facing south-east on clayey-sandy soils with good presence of marl and limestone. Vinification: traditional vinification without selected yeasts, 15-day fermentation with pumping over and punching down. The wine is aged skin contact in stainless steel for 20 days, then 24 months in 2000 litre oak barrels. A wine capturing the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany in every glass.
Tuscany is Italy's most celebrated wine region, home to legendary denominations like Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
