A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Dolcetto d'Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Dolcetto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards pajé and Carso, historic vineyards in the Barbaresco area, vines that are more than 45 years old in soil rich in calcareous marl and clay. Vinification: fermentation in wooden vats with a pied de cuve with indigenous yeasts and maceration for 10 days according to the ancient technique with submerged cap for 3 months. The wine is aged 12 months in big oak barrels. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
