A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Grignolino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines in Guyot training system of, around 25 yearsold and planted on calcareous-clay soils. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in 60 hl chestnut wood barrels with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins of 4-5 days. The wine is aged 6-12 months in 50 hL Slavonian oak barrels. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
