A fine example of Emilia Romagna winemaking, this Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 11.5% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Lambrusco Grasparossa 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks on the skins for 10-15 days with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperature and spontaneous second fermentation according to the long Charmat Method for 4-5 weeks. A wine reflecting the region's deep-rooted culinary wine traditions.
Emilia Romagna is the home of Lambrusco and a deeply food-driven wine culture.
