This exceptional Malvasia delle Lipari DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Malvasia delle Lipari 95%, Corinto 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards alberelli at 150 metres above sea level on vulcanic soils. Organic farming. Vinification: drying of the grapes exposed at the sun for at least 15 days, direct pressing, must clarification by static decantation and alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels where it stops naturally after many months. Wine is repeatedly decanted to obtain natural clarification and then bottled. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
