Crafted from Nero d'Avola 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old bush prephylloxera vines located at 500 meters above sea level on sandy and clayey soils. Vinification: pressing with an old wood press. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats with maceration on the skins for 25 days. Malolactic ending. The wine is aged in concrete vats for 45 months, 6 in oak casks and 6 in bottle.
