Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Pignatello, Catarratto, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 40 years old sapling vines in volcanic sandy terraced soils. Organic farming. Vinification: de-stemming, pressing and spontaneous fermentation in 220-litres terracotta jars with maceration on the skins for 3 months. Without added sulphites, without filtrations. The wine is aged 7 months in terracotta jars and some in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
