This Irpinia DOC captures the distinctive personality of Campania terroir. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 400 mt. s.l.m. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and maceration in steel vats for 2-3 weeks. The wine is aged 6 months in barriques and few months in steel vats, 6 months in bottle. A wine showing the volcanic and mineral character typical of Campania's soils.
Campania's viticultural roots stretch back to ancient Roman times, among the oldest in Italy.
