This prestigious Offida DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines at least 20 years of age on medium clay clay soil tending to limestone, facing south and south/west. Organic cultivation and yield of 50 quintals per hectare. Vinification: destemming and crushing, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and subsequent maceration for 7 days, racking and racking in barrique. The wine is aged 24 months in barrique.
