This exceptional Collio DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Chardonnay 75%, Sauvignon 25%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 45 years old vines in a marny hilly soil between Gorizia and Oslavia. Vinification: destemming, pressing and spintaneaous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 2 months in open big Slavonian oak barrels, during whisk the malolactic fermnetation is completed. Without filtrations. The wine is aged 36 months in big Slavonian oak barrels and 12 months in steel tanks. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
