A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Collio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, Ribolla Gialla, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards rooted in a hilly marny soil rich in potassium in San Floriano del Collio area. Vinification: destemming, maceration on the skins for 12 hours at 15°C, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in tonneaux for 8-10 days. The wine is aged 8 months on the lees in tonneaux, then at least 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
Friuli producers are known for meticulous, terroir-driven winemaking, especially with native white varieties.
