This Collio DOC captures the distinctive personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia terroir. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Sauvignon, Malvasia, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 30 years old vines in the Zegla hills. Vinification: delicate destemming, maceration on the skins for some days, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 12 months on the lees in large wood barrels, 12 months in steel tanks and 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
Cool alpine breezes and diverse soils give Friuli's wines their trademark aromatic precision.
