A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Friulano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines that are 60 years old on average in a marny clayey soil, faced to South and South-East. A part of the grapes is attacked by noble rot. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in barriques and in tonneaux. The wine is aged 12 months on the lees in barriques. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
