This Fiano di Avellino DOCG stands as a benchmark for Campania's highest quality classification. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Fiano 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the Arianiello district (which takes its name from the strong wind that blows) to Lapio from vines of about 20 years raised in Guyot at 500 meters above sea level with southern exposure on calcareous clay soil. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel. The wine is aged some months in steel. A wine reflecting Campania's ancient viticultural roots stretching back to Roman times.
Campania is home to celebrated indigenous varieties like Aglianico, Fiano and Greco.
