This Fiano di Avellino DOCG stands as a benchmark for Campania's highest quality classification. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Fiano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 15-35 year old vines on clay and calcareous marl soils with northern exposure at 430 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is aged 11 months on the lees in stainless steel, with a further 8 months in the bottle. A wine showing the volcanic and mineral character typical of Campania's soils.
Campania is home to celebrated indigenous varieties like Aglianico, Fiano and Greco.
