This Franciacorta DOCG stands as a benchmark for Lombardy's highest quality classification. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Chardonnay 90%, Pinot Noir 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Monforte d'Alba from vines over 30 years old, on vineyards located at an altitude of 300-350 m. above sea level, facing South, on soils rich in limestone and clay. Vinification: soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, refermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method (Champenoise). The wine is aged 30 months on the lees. A wine reflecting the alpine influence found across Lombardy's varied terroir.
Lombard winemakers favour an innovative approach while maintaining deep respect for tradition.
