Produced in Friuli Venezia Giulia, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old vines that are more than 60 yeras old in a calcareous clayey soil in Corno di Rosazzo hills, near Slovenina. Organic cultivation. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeats in steel vats. The wine is aged 12 months in used barriques from Allier. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
