Tasting Notes

This Gavi DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Cortese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the historic vines of over 40 years of age well exposed to the south / south-west at 310-350 meters above sea level on clayey-marly soils. Vinification: fermentation in steel and wood barrels for three weeks. The wine is aged 12 months in steel, 8 months in large barrels and barriques and at least 6 months in bottle. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
