This Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa DOC captures the distinctive personality of Emilia Romagna terroir. Its modest 8% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Lambrusco Grasparossa, Malbo Gentile, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards medium-textured soils, located in the first hills of the municipalities of Scandiano and Canossa, in the province of Reggio Emilia. Vinification: destemming, maceration on the skins for 12 hours at 15°C, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in tonneaux for 8-10 days. The wine is aged 8 months on the lees in tonneaux, then at least 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the region's deep-rooted culinary wine traditions.
