A fine example of Lombardy winemaking, this Lugana DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a morenic clayey soil in the Southern shore of Garda lake. Vinification: soft pressing, cold settling and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks and in small oak barrels. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
Lombardy is best known for Franciacorta, Italy's finest sparkling wine appellation, alongside the alpine reds of Valtellina.
