A fine example of Lombardy winemaking, this Lugana DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vines over 60 years old on calcareous soil. Vinification: fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 10 months in steel tanks and almost 6 months in bottle. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
Lombardy is best known for Franciacorta, Italy's finest sparkling wine appellation, alongside the alpine reds of Valtellina.
