This exceptional Carso DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Malvasia Istriana 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in a natural park of the Karst, on calcareous rock and red earth rich in minerals, caressed by La Bora, with a climate characterized by strong temperature ranges. Vinification: one part of the grapes undergoes a slight withering, the other a over-ripening. Soft pressing and vinification in stainless steel tanks by indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged few months in steel tanks on the lees. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
Friuli producers are known for meticulous, terroir-driven winemaking, especially with native white varieties.
