This Collio DOC captures the distinctive personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia terroir. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Malvasia Istriana 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 80 years old vines in the slope faced to south/east in Quarin hills in Brazzano di Cormons. Organic cultivation. Vinification: pressing whole bunches, without de-stemming, and spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats. The wine is aged 12 months in steel vats. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
Friuli Venezia Giulia is celebrated as one of Italy's premier white wine regions.
