Merlot 50 Anni Le Vigne di Zamò

This exceptional Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the oldest vineyards on the estate of at least 50 years of age. Vinification: maceration of the grapes in truncated-conical wooden vats for 20 days, racking, pressing and delestage. The wine is aged 18 months in barrique and other 2 years in bottle. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
