A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Merlot 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vines of 15 years located at 175-350 meters of altitude on hilly terrain of marls and clay surrounded by woods. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks with maceration on the skins. Malolactic fermentation in cement. The wine is aged 12 months in steel. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
