This distinctive wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the Sant'Andrea, Lucinico and Podsabotin vineyards with some vines of over 80 years old. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeatsin oak casks with maceration on the skins for 28 days. Without added sulphotes and without filtrations. The wine is aged 24 months in oak barrels of Slavonia, barrique, tonneaux and oak cask of 25 hectoliters. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
Friuli producers are known for meticulous, terroir-driven winemaking, especially with native white varieties.
