A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Contea di Sclafani DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Inzolia 75%, Sauvignon 25%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on clay and limestone soils, at an altitude between 500 and 700 m. above sea level., with exposure to the South-West. Vinification: cold maceration of the grapes of Sauvignon. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks with yeast for 4-5 months, then in bottle for 6 months. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
