Hailing from Marche, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Pecorino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards raised in Guyot on a medium-textured clay soil with sandy veins. Organic cultivation and yield of 70 quintals per hectare. Vinification: destemming, crushing, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel and, for 30%, in oak barrels for 15-20 days by grafting a pied de cuve obtained from grapes harvested in pre-harvest. The wine is aged 10 months in steel tanks and in oak barrels. A wine reflecting the Marche region's balance of Adriatic influence and hillside terroir.
The region is best known for Verdicchio, one of Italy's most versatile white grapes.
