Pinot Nero 'Maurus' Masut da Rive

This Isonzo DOC captures the distinctive personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards near the river Isonzo on pebbly red soil. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in small barrels and malolactic fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged 12-18 months in barrique and 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
