This Primitivo di Manduria DOC captures the distinctive personality of Puglia terroir. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Primitivo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old sapling vines rooted on red soil, rich in iron oxide, with limestone substrate and rocky outcrops. Vinification: manual harvesting of slightly overripe grapes; destemming-crushing, pre-fermentation maceration at 8 ° C for 24-48 hours. Thermo-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for about 10 days at 24-26 ° C. Final racking with soft presses. The wine is aged 6 months in French oak barriques. A wine showing the sun-drenched warmth typical of Puglia's Mediterranean climate.
