A fine example of Puglia winemaking, this Gioia del Colle DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 16% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Primitivo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the hills of the Murgia of Gioia del Colle. Vinification: maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel, maloattica natural fermentation and filtration before bottling. The wine is aged 12 months in steel, 12 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottle. A wine showing the sun-drenched warmth typical of Puglia's Mediterranean climate.
Puglia, Italy's sun-drenched heel, produces generous, full-bodied wines from ancient vines.
