This Collio DOC captures the distinctive personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia terroir. At 12% alcohol, it stays light on its feet without sacrificing character. Crafted from Ribolla Gialla 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines that are 23-45 years old rooted in a hilly marny soil called 'ponca'. Yield: 30 q/ha. Vinification: de-stemming, pressing, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with indigenous yeasts on the skins in open wooden vats. Without filtration. The wine is aged 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
