A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Schioppettino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards marne sandstones locally known as Ponka. Vinification: maceration on the skins with alternating pumping. The wine is aged french oak barrels for 24 months, then 6 months in bottle. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
