Produced in Lombardy, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 400 metres above sea level with south esposition on clay and tuff soils with chalky substrate. Organic farming. Vinification: alcoholic spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts without control temperature, second fermentation in bottle according to Ancestral Method, dégorgement then refilled with the same wine. The wine is aged 24 months on the lees. A wine reflecting the alpine influence found across Lombardy's varied terroir.
Lombardy is best known for Franciacorta, Italy's finest sparkling wine appellation, alongside the alpine reds of Valtellina.
