This prestigious Aglianico del Taburno DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Aglianico 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a calcareous soil at 300-400 m above sea level in Pnte village, on the Taburno slopes. Vinification: destemming, pressing, alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 20 months and malolactic one in barriques. The wine is aged 12 months in barriques and at least 24 months in bottle. A wine reflecting Campania's ancient viticultural roots stretching back to Roman times.
Volcanic soils around Vesuvius give Campania wines a distinctive mineral intensity.
