A fine example of Campania winemaking, this Irpinia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 3-4 weeks. The wine is aged at least 18 months in French barriques and 50 hl medium toasted oak barrels. A wine true to Campania's tradition of structured, age-worthy wines.
Campania's viticultural roots stretch back to ancient Roman times, among the oldest in Italy.
