This distinctive wine from Sicily embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 12% alcohol, it delivers elegance and finesse. Crafted from Catarratto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 45-years-old sapling vines in Contrada Minneno in Mazara del Vallo, rooted in clayey calcareous soils. Organic farming. Vinification: maceration on the skins for 6 days and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks for about 15 days, with minimum addition of sulphites (about 3 mg/l). The wine is aged about 7 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
