Tasting Notes

Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Catarratto 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 25-55 years-old vines in Contrada Minneno and Contrada Roccazzo, in the Mazara del Vallo area, on clayey and calcareous soil. Organic farming. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Without filtrations and with low levels of sulphites. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks and in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
