Egesta Aldo Viola

This distinctive wine from Sicily embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Grillo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the hills of Pietrarinosa at 250 metres of altitude with North exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with indigenous yeasts and long maceration on the skins for 6 months. Complete malolactic. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. Unfiltered and no adding sulphites. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
