This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Carricante 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vine with an average age of 45 years old in a volcanic soil at 750 m above sea level in Contrada Calderara. Vinification: cold maceration for 24 hours, cold settling, fermentation in French tonneaux for the 40% and in concrete vats for the 60%. The wine is aged 12 months on the lees in tonneaux for the 40% and in concrete vats for the 60%. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
