Crafted from Carricante 70% and Catarratto 30%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards alberello training system in contrada Passopisciaro, on the northern slope of Etna at 600 meters above sea level on sandy volcanic soils rich in skeleton and iron. Vinification: slow whole cluster pressing and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks. The wine is aged 6 months on lees in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
