This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Carricante 70%, Catarratto 20%, Grillo 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 600 m above sea level, in a volcanic sandy soil faced to south-east. Vinification: soft pressing, cold maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeats with maceration for 24 hours, mining and completion of fermentation for 30 days at controlled temperature. No sulphites added. The wine is aged few months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
