Tasting Notes

This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Carricante 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the volcanic soils of Contrada Martinella, at 600 metres above sea level on the North-East slope of Etna. Organic farming. Vinification: destemming, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 24 months on the lees in steel tanks and at least 12 months in bottle.
