This prestigious Franciacorta DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Nero 50%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from a single vineyard (Roccolo) with vines which are 20 years old. Vinification: matures 6 months in barriques and 6 months in steel tanks, then second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise method. The wine is aged 60 months on the lees. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
The region's alpine influence and varied terroir create wines of remarkable elegance and precision.
