A fine example of Campania winemaking, this Vesuvio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Piedirosso 50%, Olivella 30% and Aglianico 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on sandy soils of volcanic origin at an altitude of 300/600 meters. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The wine is aged 7 months in stainless steel tanks and at least 3 in bottle. A wine reflecting Campania's ancient viticultural roots stretching back to Roman times.
Volcanic soils around Vesuvius give Campania wines a distinctive mineral intensity.
