Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Red grapes , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in clayey soil at 480 metres above sea level in Contrada Cerasa, from Monreale area. Biodynamic farming. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in big oak barrels for 10-12 days. Without filtrations. The wine is aged some months in wood barrels. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
