Picolit La Tunella

Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Picolit 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on "ponca" soil of Friuli with a low yield per hectar. Vinification: late harvested from botrytised grapes dried for about 60 days and a slow fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged 24 months in barrique of 225 litres. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
