Pinot Grigio Ramato 'Vis Uvae' Il Carpino

This distinctive wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Pinot Gris 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines on soils with marls and sandstones exposed to the southeast and 180 meters above sea level. Vinification: the grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and undergo an alcoholic fermentation by indigenous yeasts with maceration of the skins for 10 days in open oak vats. The wine is aged 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, 11 months in steel tanks and 12 months in bottles. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
