Hailing from Friuli Venezia Giulia, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Schioppettino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines over 30 years old on soil rich in skeleton and iron oxides. Hand-harvested in very slight overripeness. Vinification: mashing of the grapes, long fermentazion with indigenous yeats for more than 35 days. The wine is aged at least 12 months in oak barrels. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
Cool alpine breezes and diverse soils give Friuli's wines their trademark aromatic precision.
