This Rosso Piceno DOC captures the distinctive personality of Marche terroir. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Montepulciano 70%, Sangiovese 30%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at an altitude of 200 meters in Offida and Ascoli Piceno. Vinification: temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for 28 days. The wine is aged 18 months in barriques. A wine reflecting the Marche region's balance of Adriatic influence and hillside terroir.
The region is best known for Verdicchio, one of Italy's most versatile white grapes.
